Welcome to Canton!

Located in northeastern Ohio, the City of Canton provides its residents with many benefits of big-city living while maintaining its charm as a medium-sized Midwestern town. 3rd St. Bridge Replacement Project

The City of Canton recently held an Open House Public Input Meeting at the DeHoff Memorial Library on June 19, 2018 to discuss the status of the 3rd St. SE Bridge Replacement-Pedestrian Bridge Project STA-3rd St. SE PID 91972. An exhibit of the presentation material is available. The public is encouraged to review and comment by the July 27, 2018 deadline. City of Canton Water Department Launches Paperless Billing Program

CANTON, Ohio — 

Today, the City of Canton Water Department announced a new paperless billing system that eliminates mailing paper copies of bills to those customers who sign up for it.
Water Department Superintendent Tyler S. Converse says the new program provides another convenient way for customers to pay their water bills, providing time and cost efficiencies.
“We're always searching for new ways to add convenience and better service for our customers,” said Converse. “They count on us for affordable, safe water to meet their everyday needs. Mayor Thomas M. Bernabei, the Canton Parks Commission, and the Canton Tree Commission are excited to announce the 5th Annual Arbor Day Celebration to be held on April 27, 2018. In connection with the Arbor Day Celebration, the Canton Tree Commission will be sponsoring a photography contest open to all residents of Stark County. This year's theme is "Tree-Mend-Us".
