SUBJECT: September 2018 - Impaired Driving Enforcement Program
DATE September 1st through September 30th, 2018

The Canton Police Department will increase traffic enforcement patrols in the city during the listed dates of September 1st through September 30th, 2018.  Officers will be focusing on reducing the incidents of speeding, driving while intoxicated, failure to use occupant restraint devices, and intersection control violations. The enforcement goal is to reduce traffic related fatalities and injuries. Funding for the program is made possible through a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
